If you lose a tool from a registered Crown Forge set, you can buy a replacement for 25% off the normal replacement price. There's no need to replace the whole set because one piece has gone missing.
Had your tools stolen?
If your registered Crown Forge tools are stolen, we'll replace them at 50% off the normal replacement price.
We'll ask for reasonable evidence that the theft was reported, usually a police crime reference number. If several tools, or a whole set, are stolen in the same incident, you can include them all in one claim.
How to claim
- Sign in to your Crown Forge account.
- Go to Registered Products and select the tool or set.
- Click Make a Claim and choose lost or stolen.
- Select the individual tool or tools you need to replace.
- For theft claims, add your police crime reference number.
- Submit your claim.
Once we've reviewed it, we'll confirm your replacement price and you can complete your order through your account.
Register the set, not every tool
You don't need to register every socket, spanner or extension individually. Register the set once and we'll record everything that came with it. If something goes missing later, we'll know exactly what belongs in your set and can replace just that piece.
Registering is simple
Every Crown Forge product comes with a registration card. Scan the QR code within 60 days of purchase and follow the steps. It takes less than a minute.
Replacement pricing
Your discount is based on the standard Crown Forge replacement price at the time of your claim. Temporary sales, promotions and voucher codes don't affect the price used.
If a tool isn't normally sold separately, we'll set a fair individual price, so you'll never have to buy a complete set to replace one piece. Standard delivery charges apply.
Theft claims
We don't expect you to prove the impossible. A police crime reference number is normally enough. For larger claims, we may ask for a little more information about what happened before arranging replacements.
What's not covered?
This programme is here to help genuine owners when tools are accidentally lost or stolen. It doesn't cover tools that have been:
- Sold or given away
- Deliberately thrown away
- Deliberately damaged or destroyed
- Falsely reported as lost or stolen
If we reasonably believe the programme is being abused or a claim is fraudulent, we may refuse the claim or withdraw access to the programme.
Who can use it?
The programme is open to the original purchaser of eligible Crown Forge products, registered within 60 days of purchase. If we can't verify your purchase from our records, we may ask for proof of purchase.
Replacements are subject to availability. If we no longer make the original tool, we'll offer the closest suitable Crown Forge equivalent.
Separate from our Lifetime Guarantee
This programme is an additional ownership benefit and is separate from our Lifetime Guarantee. You don't need to register your tools to receive the Lifetime Guarantee. The 60-day registration requirement applies only to Lost & Stolen Tool Replacement.
